Thomas C. Tompkins is the owner of Tompkins Appraisal Group and has over 35 years of real estate appraisal experience in all types of valuation and evaluation assignments. Including, extensive condemnation appraisal and review experience including complex assignments of commercial, industrial, and special purpose properties. Over this period he has testified as an expert witness on numerous occasions for county, circuit and federal bankruptcy courts and attorneys.
Formal education includes a Bachelors of Business Administration Degree (BBA) from the University of North Florida, with a major in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. IFA-S; Senior Designation from the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers, State-Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and Licensed Florida Real Estate Broker.
Mr. Tompkins has appraised and reviewed appraisals for a vast array of property types including: residential, vacant land including both small and large development tracts, timberlands, reclaimed mining lands, environmental sensitive property, islands, springs and river front property, office buildings, convenience facilities with gas sales, retail stores, warehouse/industrial properties motels, hotels, ocean front multi-story condominium developments, recreation/conservation easements, power line easements, etc.
Mr. Tompkins is presently on the approved list of appraisers for many institutions such as various financial institutions, savings/loan establishments, credit unions, and numerous local, state, regional and federal institutions and agencies.
